Blog Challenge Update

What a week, this 30 day blog challenge I’ve imposed on myself has been a little more difficult than I thought it might have been.

Thinking of post material and writing the posts etc. Now that it’s about done I’m thinking maybe a couple guest posters may have helped.

Then reason for the challenge was to make myself, set and complete a goal to start the year. I was curious also if it would increase visitors, which it has not as much as I thought but there has been an increase.

Some things, I should have done was to make a short list of topics, maybe have some sort of reader contest, and re enable my opt in box.

I guess some of those are still doable. One good take away will be to look at which posts got comments and create more of those type of posts.

I generally try to write most of the posts so they are evergreen in hopes that when some one visits they will find other items of use.

In the final 8 days of the challenge there will be at least a couple training videos on web tips. Some have posted suggestions as always feel free to comment your thoughts and ideas.
