Things to be Thankful for

Usually this time each year I post things that I’m thankful for but a friend of mine (Stu Mclaren over at http://stu.me) did it a little differently and I liked the format he used so I thought I would share what I posted there.

Here is the 10 things I’m thankful for. I’m curious what you are thankful this year. Feel free to post in the comment area

  1. God – For the way to many to count blessings he has given me and the knowledge to know that through him all things are possible.
  2. My Wife – For loving me no matter what for the past 27 years, for understanding me when no one else does and supporting me without question.
  3. My Daughters and Grandchildren – for giving me purpose to try harder, a reason to try to set a good example, and for the countless smiles, hugs and laughter.
  4. My Families – (Blood, Faith, and Internet) – For understanding, support, feedback, encouragement, guidance and friendship.
  5. My Clients & Customers – without them I would obviously not have a business for 20+ years.
  6. Music – It keeps me going, helps me relax, energize, and workout.
  7. Technology – Internet and all the gadgets that we have available to use that allow us to do just about anything anywhere at any time. It allows me to do what I love doing anywhere I am.
  8. Dreams and Ideas – Sometimes this one can be a burden too because it doesn’t let me sleep but I still have to consider it something I’m thankful for as it keeps me striving to reach goals and achieve good things.
  9. Freedom – I’m grateful for the men and women who have fought and are fighting for our country for continued freedom. To live in a country where we can live our dreams, worship the way we want, listen and read what we want and have the ability to say what we want.
  10. I’m grateful for all of the opportunities and life experiences I’ve had to this point and my health so that I can continue to experience even more great things as I get older.

Again I’d love to hear some of the things you are thankful for this year. Just post those in the comment area.

I am grateful for all the things you are (except for my OWN spouse and children – LOL). I am also incredibly grateful for my health. While I’m blessed to not have to deal with anything too serious, whenever I feel restricted in some physical way (muscle aches, colds, injuries, etc.) I remember how incredible it feels to feel good. Right now I’m 100% in every way and I’m utterly grateful. Thanks for posting, Frank!

I’m thankful for a loving and gracious God; for my girlfriend, who like your wife, supports me and understands me like no one else; for children who are all healthy (and who are also all finally over that nasty stomach virus from last week!); for my own health; and for the opportunities that are abundant in my life every single day. Thanks for sharing your gratitude.

I’m thankful that my husband is alive and doing well-he almost died in 2010.
I’m thankful that my niece and nephews are all healthy and safe and doing well.
I’m grateful for the wonderful colleagues that I work with like Lorrie and many others.
I’m grateful that I get to be creative and help people come up with awesome titles and ebooks and share their amazing messages with the world.
I’m grateful I can see and walk and read and dance and sing.
    Thanks for sharing Frank!

Ditto to your list! The Lord has blessed us above and beyond what we could ask or think; a wonderful husband; two young adult children; health; growing business and so much more.

Taking the time to reflect on blessings is a very healthy endeavor!
