WordPress Theme Or Framework?

Just a short post today I’m looking at making some changes on my site/blog here I’ve been a big fan of Thesis for sometime but I’ve delayed upgrading to version 2. While it might be a great framework still I’ve decided to see what other options there are out there.

In saying that I’m curious what theme or framework you like? Also if you could share with me what you like or dislike about the current site? maybe something else you’d like to see more of?

On the blogs you follow do like the image per post? the thumbnail or the full width at the top of the blog post? Just curious… I’ve been checking out a lot of different sites lately and seem that many are going the way I’m thinking and that is to just simplify!

Just leave your feed back in the comments section and I look forward to your great feedback!

You know I like ithemes Builder the best. Though I don’t think its for everyone. It allows a lot of flexibility for designers, but has a bit of a learning curve compared to other themes, so maybe not ideal for throwing up a quick low maintenance blog. Ithemes does have many pre designed themes though that are pretty good though.

Ha ha thanks Joel you’ve seen inside the back end of my blog far from low maintenance LOL – thanks for the feedback. for some reason iThemes didn’t click for me. Maybe if I was “just” creating a blog site but complicating it with a membership site and product delivery in the back end I’m not sure how that would work.

Hi Frank, Personally I enjoy WP for the simple reason I can teach my clients to use it and not have to depend on me for all their changes. As for your site, I love what you’ve done with the place. Sorry can’t add more than that. However, you have to remember where I’m coming from – You taught me most everything I know (about Websites and design).
